Downtown York has witnessed exponential growth over the past few years. With increases in its small business offerings, major development and redevelopment projects, including local and regional investment, Downtown Inc is proud to share where we’ve been and where we’re going. Join us on Wednesday, November 8 at the Appell Center for the Performing Arts for our Fall 2023 Downtown Update!
Doors will open at 7:30am for networking and a light breakfast, followed by the program beginning at 8:00am.
Attendees will hear an update on the work of Downtown Inc, the organization committed to driving, enhancing, and encouraging investment in Downtown York through promotions, placemaking, public safety, and economic development. Presenters include Jonathan Desmarais, Director of Downtown Inc, Hannah Beard, Marketing and Merchant Engagement Manager and Bronley Martin, Urban Revitalization Manager.
In addition, York City Police Commissioner, Michael Muldrow will highlight some of the Department’s recent projects and initiatives with an inspiring report on public safety in the City of York.
To close out our program, Sully Pinos, Executive Director of BLOOM Business Empowerment Center, will share the latest developments of BLOOM, and announce the Grant Recipients from the York City BLOOM Grant Round.
We hope you’ll join us for an informative morning of what’s happening in our #HistoricallyEdgy downtown!
